We read the letter Robert Pirosh wrote about his LOVE of words. We listed our love of musical words and shared them with Mrs Hohaia: we love groovy, gifted, harsh smooth music words like wrinkly, sneaky, strumming, drifting, jazzy-wazzy drums, wavy, thunderous, synching, deep double bass, pattern, funky, low, stingy-wingy piano, ukulele, zippy, mind blowing, dreamy, shining voice, rockin' rhythms, irresistible, pumping piano, stringy guitar, and musicification !

The Eclipse

We have been viewing the eclipse, we have been watching it live in Northern Australia, we've googled facts about it, we've drawn diagrams and kept a diary of our thinking and our feelings. We have become umbraphiles!

Maxwell's Best and Worst of Athletics Day

I felt a bit nervous. My favourite sport was discuss because I was good at it. I had never even held a discuss before. Then one of the teachers said I was in the top 5 and I felt excited. I do want to go to cluster. My worst thing about athletics was when we had to sit down and do nothing in the 200m run.
