Waiting To Rip Into The Haka by Dan
I feel like I’m in a freezer. It’s so cold. I’m very scared to do the haka. But, first we have to do the singing, then rakau. Katelyn is our leader. Off we go I’m singing as loud as I can, so everyone can hear me. I am finally finished and now I have to sit down. I was trying to let out my best voice. Here I’m about to do the haka. I was scared but now I’m not. I am into it!

Dan you were fierce! you even had scratches on your chest when you finished. I really hope you carry on with Kapa haka next year. Ms Ramaka will be needing strong boys to help lead the little kids. From Mrs Moore
