The Magic Box by Nyle

I will put my box.
The trust of my best friends.
The crazed joy of a child getting a sweet.
The passion of Romeo and Juliet’s love.

I will put in my box
The hammer of a Cyclops.
The tears of a baby seal that just about lost it’s mum in a seal mall.
The troll and it’s bridge that’s made out of gold and mold.

I will place in my box
The weirdness of my best friends
The teeth, wings, flexability and bat of a vampire
And the magic, wand and an old white beard of a grumpy old wizard called Huje

I will place in my box
The brain of Einstein
The voice of an angle and the wrongness of a parent saying “turn off that rubbish young peoples music” and they put on their old people’s rubbish music

I will make my box out of the softest feather’s from an angle’s wing

I will live in my box all year round!

The Magic Box by Daniel

l will put in my box

The sun that’s bright and shiny and the mystery of a blue moon.

I will put in my box

The middle head of a hydra that will never die and will never hurt people
And a silver sword from a knight.

I will put in my box

The taste of an ice-cream for a hot day.
The pack of fireworks the I got on guy fakes day
And a new trampoline net around my trampoline.

I will put in my box

My favourite clothing and a bar of any chocolate.

I will put in my bow

And a picture that’s made out of gold that's shiny
And camp Maynard, finding the glow worms.

I will put in my box

The time we went to the war museum.

The lock is made of ice that will never melt.

In my box I can put what ever I need.

My box is full of magic.

Magic Box by Marianne

I will put in the box:
The beautiful sound of flute notes rippling into the summer darkness,
The impossible (but possible in my box) dream of floating in the sky,
The sensational and wonderful feeling of rain melting into my skin.

I will put in the box:
The glorious feeling of sand in between my toes,
The exhausting sight of sweat as someone runs a long race,
The delightful sound of ice cream sizzling on the hot concrete.

I will put in the box:
The shining point of an amazing crystal,
The loving sound of the bride saying,“I do” on her wedding day,
The magnificent sight of a blazing fire crackling to life.

I will put in the box:
The tempting interest in scary monsters and gorgons,
The wonderful memory of my loving family as I grow up,
The wicked sight of the All Blacks winning The Golden Cup.

My box is made out of wonderful things,
The hinges are made from my happiness and joy which holds everything together,
The sides are made from my strong, tough outside but soft and loving within,
Dew drops on a piece of thread line the box.

I will have all the power in my box,
I will explore my box corner to corner,
The rushing waves will not stop until I strictly command them to,
Then I’ll wake up only to find myself in the bleached white clouds, soft as cotton wool.

My Magic Box by Bruce

My magic Box
I will put in my box
The winners dream of being in the last finals of a mathematics competition,
A terrifying sound of a boiled up scientific lab
The feeling of swimming backstroke by myself

I will put in my box
The ghostly cicada shift crawling up my body
The slips from the bush walk
The sight of horrified people screaming when tents fall down in a storm

I will put in my box
The cherry blossoms pepping out at spring
The golden clouds that rain gold coins
The silver clouds raining silver clouds that rain one billion
bucks
The mezmorizing books of Roald Dahl
And my friends Nyle and Giona

I will put in my box
A strawberry smelled female rabbit
The challenging games of plants vs. zombies and monopoly
A Chinese dragon that can guard me kindly when I have danger

My box has the hinges of empathy
The great ancient gold coins are the sides and corners all stuck flat together

My box has all the impossibilities and will I make them possible
I shall organize in my box all the pictures in history
and all the pictures in the future

My Magic Box by Anita

I will put in my box:
The unbelievable dream of soaring over the clouds.
The cute sound of my dog barking.
A swim with the dolphins under the deepest blue sea.

I will put in my box:
The delicious taste of strawberry ice cream on a boiling summer day.
The soft feathers of a charming peacock.
The sweet smell of a beautiful red rose.

I will put in my box:
A ride on a snowy white pony.
The wonderful sight of delicate bubbles floating around.
The lovely tune of a fabulous cello.

I will put in my box:
The impossible dream of adopting a baby cheetah.
The sight of a perfect Christmas gift.
The joyful feeling of playing with my family and friends.

My box is made of non-melting ice and its sides are covered with rare gem stones.
I will swim and explore in my box.

ANYTHING IN MY BOX IS POSSIBLE!

My Magic Box

I will put in my box:
The sound of a screaming fire
In a cold winter day

I will put in my box:
The smell of rustling plants dangling in the breeze
and the smooth taste of a caramel lollypop
That I’m licking in the rain

I will put in my box:
A super dog and me playing fetch with a sausage
and the fangs from a vampires mouth, the magical eye of a Cyclops
and a loud lions roar

I will put in my box:
The happiness of my friends and me
and the hotness on a summers day

I will put in my box:
The time when I moved to Auckland.
The sight of the Twin towers in the New York sky
and the water rushing in the wind

My box is lined with famous rugby jerseys
The lid is made of stretchy wood
And the sides are made out of thick solid stone
The hinges are made of tight titanium metal

In my box I will
Score a try for the All Blacks
I will win a surfing contest
and I will win 10,000 dollars!

My box is full of hopes and dreams

Magic Box Poems by Catherine, Jenny

My Magic Box

I will put in my magic box:
A sight of a shining light blue crystal from a snowy, white mountain,
The sweet smell of a cute little brother after a warm shower,
And a part of an unusual blue flag.

I will place in my box:
The sound of cars rushing on the black and white road in Korea,
A saying from a wonderful second placed speech,
A delicate drop of rain from the sky full of fluffy white clouds.

I will collect in my box:
A cracked, white snowball from the prickly, green, grass,
A tiny ball of fire from a friendly Korean fire dragon,
The taste of the melting chocolate inside my watering mouth.

I will store in my box:
A smudge of wax crayon from a beautiful artwork,
A magical horn from a beautiful, shiny, white unicorn,
And last of all, a non-melting transparent ice cube.

My box is constructed out of the funniest days of my life,
The sides of my box are made out of black and navy blue silk,
The lock of my box is made of pure pearls,
With delicate silk and shiny spider webs around its hinges.

I will swim in my box with the dolphins and other adorable sea creatures until, I discover, It’s. A. DREAM.

By Catherine

My Magic Box

I will pour in my box
Sweat of the tired bushwalkers,
Water from the sea serpent’s lake,
The rain that tastes of the most bluest blueberry.

I will place in my box
The scrumptious smell of an apple pie,
A reddest petal of a charming rose,
The best sentence of Roald Dahl’s last book.

I will store in my box
The beatty noise of the hiphop,
A time machine that will go to my dream,
The Humungous fireball of the shining sun.

I will organise in my box
Real life dodge balls that will talk,
The swirling feeling of the tornado,
A sun that will change into glorious colours.

My box is decorated with sparkly rubys and sapphires, with musical notes on the lid and mystery in the corners.
The lock is made of the craters of the moon.

I shall sing in my box with audiences cheering me on.
Under the colourful spot lights, I bow to the audience.

A Mystery by Andrew

Another place, another time. All crowded up in a single cart, they sailed towards the sea. The wind was roaring fiercely and blankets of thick fog covered the surface of the water. If there was answer, he would find it. It was nearly midnight, everything was dark and murky. The blue moon shone brightly on the silver railway. Frightening thunder clouds covered the smooth night sky. The air was pitch black and the moon shone like a gigantic jack-o-lantern from a midnight Halloween party. The sea was swishing, deep and hungry.
There were four people on board. The two boys at the top controlling the cart, and their grandparents were in front reading the stars for direction. They were sailing into the water when the cart, believe it or not turned into a wooden ship. It looked like a schooner. The ship had three gigantic sails and a dark cabin. In the cabin was a steering wheel and a compass. The compass was fixed in the middle. Each side of the ship had three deadly cannons that shot out deadly fire balls and pike balls.
Suddenly, terribly, there appeared the shadow of a ghost ship... (to be continued)
