I will put in the box:
The beautiful sound of flute notes rippling into the summer darkness,
The impossible (but possible in my box) dream of floating in the sky,
The sensational and wonderful feeling of rain melting into my skin.
I will put in the box:
The glorious feeling of sand in between my toes,
The exhausting sight of sweat as someone runs a long race,
The delightful sound of ice cream sizzling on the hot concrete.
I will put in the box:
The shining point of an amazing crystal,
The loving sound of the bride saying,“I do” on her wedding day,
The magnificent sight of a blazing fire crackling to life.
I will put in the box:
The tempting interest in scary monsters and gorgons,
The wonderful memory of my loving family as I grow up,
The wicked sight of the All Blacks winning The Golden Cup.
My box is made out of wonderful things,
The hinges are made from my happiness and joy which holds everything together,
The sides are made from my strong, tough outside but soft and loving within,
Dew drops on a piece of thread line the box.
I will have all the power in my box,
I will explore my box corner to corner,
The rushing waves will not stop until I strictly command them to,
Then I’ll wake up only to find myself in the bleached white clouds, soft as cotton wool.
WOW that first line was great.fiona
ReplyDeletewouldn't it be great to fly.
ReplyDeleteFantastic to have the sides and inside of your box as different parts of your personality
I love all those adjectives you used.
